Impact Stack 2.0 - your options for upgrading
There are exciting developments on the way for Impact Stack this year. We’re offering three options for migration to the new generation of the platform.
- New development pilot projects through 2025
- Early adopter pilots, accessing the new platform during 2025
- Standard migration from 2026
Option 1 - new development pilot projects
Throughout 2025, we can run a limited number of these pilot projects, offering early access to innovations in the platform with the chance to influence the way a specific new feature is developed.

Curiosity gap: functionality for an action where a supporter shares their postcode, and can view local stats/info before moving on to sign a petition, or contact a decision-maker.

Interactive storytelling: create compelling ‘choose your own adventure’ experiences, engaging supporters with your cause in an absorbing and engaging way.

Engagement quiz: build fun engagement quizzes with a smooth user flow, including options for scored or non-scored versions.

Coalition campaigning platform: a coalition platform, enabling coalition members or local groups to run their own branded versions of a joint action, with access to their own data.

Something else? Visual or audio petition? Broadcast email to targets like MPs, using Impact Stack’s powerful tailoring and filtering functionality? A system for managing target pledges? If you have an idea of a tactic or feature you’d like to see, and could potentially co-fund, let us know and we’ll be happy to scope it and create a proposal if appropriate.
New development pilot projects can be scheduled immediately and will roll out throughout 2025 at a cost of £15k +VAT.
Option 2 - early adopter pilot
Impact Stack 2.0 will offer some great enhancements. We have a limited number of remaining spots for organisations who would like to start using these immediately and have additional support making the most of them.
We’d set you up on the new platform which you can run in parallel with your existing installation for an initial period. As well as introductory training, early adopters get access to additional support and consultancy on your initial action to make sure you can make the most of new features, and extra help with content migration.

Features available to early adopters:
Super easy-to-use page builder with live preview across different devices.
New advocacy action suite: Impact Stack will look beyond ‘email to target’ to offer you new and innovative ways to take your campaign to the targets who can deliver change. This could mean:
- Customise email delivery - trickle messages into your target’s inbox, or send one email only to each target with all the collected messages.
- Collect messages to send in another format.
- Enhanced target display - edit and customise the target information displayed
Switch freely between delivery modes as your campaign needs change. - Visual Open Letter - with auto-updated counter and recent signers
Build landing pages for an external donation system: take advantage of easy to use page building and a smooth start of donation flow, then redirect to a payment page in your donation system with pre-filled data.
Advanced sharing: New sharing options via apps on your phone, ‘copy link’ button and new channels.
Data export interface: options for building your own customised export files, including saving export formats for regular use.
Upgraded thank you emails: conditional content in your thank you emails, and an easy-to-use template builder for branded thank you emails. (Coming later in 2025)
Donation pages functionality will be available on Impact Stack 2.0 later in 2025.
Option 3 - standard migration
If you can stand to wait, there’ll be no charge for standard migration. We’ll offer free training and take you step by step through the process.
How much? No additional charge - extra help with action builds available via support credits.
